The blowout nature of the Buffalo Bills鈥 Week 2 win over the New York Jets led to some variation in the team鈥檚 snap counts.
To wit: Cornerback Tre鈥橠avious White played 26 defensive snaps in his return to the lineup after missing Week 1 with a groin injury. That was 55% of the defensive total. It鈥檚 possible the Bills could have used White more against the Jets, but there was simply no need.
鈥淚 was happy for Tre. He worked extremely hard to get himself back,鈥 Bills coach Sean McDermott said Monday. 鈥淔elt like he was in a good spot to go. He went out there and played well.鈥
When White left the lineup, rookie cornerback Dorian Strong 鈥 who started in Week 1 鈥 came in and played 21 snaps (45%).

Quote of the game
鈥淚 think they took it personal. They understand what type of defense they can be. They went out there and then they played extremely well. That's the standard that we're looking for from them. They understand that.
