The Jordan Fall Festival will return with its signature greased pole climbs, a car show and more this weekend in the village.
The 79th annual festival will take place Friday through Sunday, Sept. 19 through Sept. 21, at 25 N. Beaver St. in Jordan.
Here is a full schedule of events:
Friday, Sept. 19
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Haddock fish fry
- 5 to 9 p.m.: Grounds open for rides (cost $25)
- 5 p.m.: Music by Right Turn Band
- 9 p.m.: Festival closes
Saturday, Sept. 20
- 10 a.m.: Grounds open
- 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.: Grounds open for rides (cost $30 for full day, or $25 for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 4 to 9 p.m.)
- 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Wagon rides
- Noon: Chicken barbecue
- Noon to 1 p.m.: Pumpkin painting
- 1:15 p.m.: Performance by the Jordan-Elbridge Marching Eagles
- 2:15 p.m.: Catch 'Em Young children's fishing demonstration and pole giveaway
- 3 to 5 p.m.: Knights of Columbus soccer challenge
- 5 p.m.: Music by Dirtroad Ruckus
- 9 p.m.: Festival closes

Along with everything on the schedule, the festival will also feature craft and merchant tents, more food options, a children's game tent, a pre-read book sale and more.
Admission to the festival is free and open to the public. Parking and shuttles are available for free as well. Dogs, costumes, alcohol and smoking are not permitted on festival grounds.
The festival, supported by more than 400 volunteers annually, raises money for the Jordan-Elbridge community.
