Idaho University Killer Sentenced To Life In Prison.

Bryan Kohberger has been sentenced to multiple life terms in prison without parole for the brutal stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students. The sentencing follows a plea deal in which Kohberger, 30, avoided the death penalty but gave up his right to appeal. District Judge Steven Hippler ordered consecutive life sentences for each of the victims: Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin. He also received a 10-year sentence for burglary, along with fines totaling $220,000. He offered no explanation for the killings and declined to speak in court. Kohberger, a criminology Ph.D. student at nearby Washington State University, was linked to the crime through surveillance footage, cellphone data, and DNA found at the scene. Judge Hippler said Kohberger should now face the 鈥渋gnominy and isolation of perpetual incarceration.鈥 No motive has been revealed.
